Guide to Illinois' Medicaid

Medicaid can be a very helpful resource in managing the medical expenses of disabled persons. Each state has their own unique set of requirements that are used to determine individual eligibility. This video provides an overview on Medicaid in Illinois, how to know if you are eligible, and how to apply.

Applications for Illinois’ Medicaid Program can be made at https://abe.illinois.gov, over the phone by calling the DHS Help Line at 1-800-843-6154, or in person at certain Illinois Department of Human Services locations called Family Community Resource Centers (FCRC).
